Stevenson’s Ltd (1927-1931)

The image above features the storefront of London retailer Stevenson’s Ltd. The company, founded in 1927 by Thomas Stevenson, sold men’s clothing and furnishings. The image of the shop window displays a selection of suits, hats, and other men’s accessories available at the time. The storefront was located at 156 Dundas Street. The business closed by 1931.

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
