Consider Making a Donation to Support Eldon House!

Eldon House Heritage Site and Gardens is a community museum that is open and accessible to all members of the public. Operating as a museum since 1960, Eldon House strives to engage our community through our various tours and events, and education initiatives.

As a community organization, Eldon House relies on donations to continue operating and hosting our programs. Each year Eldon House applies for granting opportunities and hosts fundraisers to ensure that the museum remains accessible.

Eldon House has multiple ways for the public to participate in fundraising. We invite members of the public to donate to our specific fundraising causes online or in-person, as well as attend one of our fundraising events. Proceeds from our gift shop also allow us to fundraise for future publication and research projects.

We are currently fundraising for a new kitchen in our Interpretive Center. The Interpretive Center kitchen was built in 2001 and caters all of our events. Since 2010, Eldon House has expanded its programming initiatives which now includes staple events like our Summer Tea, Christmas Tea, Mother’s Day Tea, as well as special events like the annual Lemon-Yellow Party, Ghost Tours and more.

Unfortunately, our current kitchen is unable to meet the needs of our expanding programs. Eldon House plans to renovate the kitchen to keep up with our changing education programs and special event needs.

Eldon House aims to raise $65,000 for the new kitchen. The renovations will expand the kitchen and have more space for storage, preparation, and food service as well as the ability host community users. The new space will ensure that Eldon House is able to continue hosting its existing programs and expanding our education and programming initiatives.

Consider helping Eldon House reach our goal by donating to our museum. Thank you for your continued support!
