General Visits

Eldon House Heritage Site and Gardens welcomes visitors to come in for self-guided tours! Our self-guided tours allow guests to explore the museum at their own pace. A Historical Interpreter will welcome visitors at the front door to provide an introduction and will be available to answer questions throughout the visit.

Eldon House Heritage Site and Gardens endeavors to provide its services and programs in a way that respects the independence and dignity of all persons and encourages integration and equality of opportunity. This document sets out the provisions and actions that Eldon House has undertaken to ensure that all visitors with disabilities are given the same opportunity to access and benefit from our services in a similar way as other customers whenever possible. Our doors are open to the public by donation with a suggested amount of $5.00-10.00 per person. A credit and debit machine is available for donations, cash is also accepted.

Our museum is open to the public from 12:00-5:00 with the last entry at 4:45 unless otherwise posted. The hours for the museum are as follows:

January – April
