The Harris Family, like many people of the early 1900s, were very interested in Egypt and North Africa. This figurine of a camel rider was brought back by the Harris Family during one of their trips to the region. It depicts a man carrying supplies and a weapon on the back of the camel that is in mid-stride. It is an interesting knickknack that commemorated travel to this area.
