Historical River Walking Tour

Students explore the interesting architecture, landscape patterns, and environmental uses surounding the Thames River. Discussions includes early Indigenous practices and uses of the land and waterways, European settlement development, and the historical events such as the Great Flood. This interactive walking tour follows the Thames River through Harris Park, under the Queens Ave. Bridge and Kensington Bridge into Ivey Park and back to Eldon House via the Old Courthouse and Bankers Row.

The 1-hour tour is followed by a historical mapping active in the Interpretive Centre.
