Travelling the World

Students learn about the travels of the Harris Family from Japan to China, India to Egypt, and Turkey to Norway. In this program which discusses and introduces that of colonialism; its cause and effect. The museum’s cultural collection of artifacts representing different societies through over 26 different countries from around the world and provides an opportunity for exploration and discussion.

The 1-hour tour is followed by a workshop on artifact identification in the Interpretive Centre.
