Focusing on the architecture and historical written recorded of Eldon House can paitn a picture of what early London life was like for early settlers, such as the Harris Family. This program contrasts the features of rural and urban development, from London village to town to the city we know today. A large collection of early 1800s artifacts from the Harris collection are utilized to enhance the fun and interactive experience for students.
The 1-hour tour is followed by a workshop on artifact identification in the Interpretive Centre.
