Children will get the chance to learn about traditional Victorian Christmas traditions by decorating and creating their very own yarn doll ornament. Take time to explore Eldon House with a self-guided tours and enjoy the sights and scents of our Victorian Christmas exhibit. Between 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. children can sit and listen to T’was the Night Before Christmas read aloud by Amelia Harris! Story Time with Amelia is on a first come first serve basis. Registration is required to take part in the crafting session and walk-ins are accepted while supplies last.

All adults and children attending the event must register. This ensures that staff can prepare our craft supplies accordingly.

The crafting session  is 60-minutes starting at 2:00 p.m. Walk-ins space is available while supplies last. Adults are not permitted to leave children age 15 and under unattended.

  • Craft: yarn doll ornaments
  • Crafts are recommended for ages 5 and up.

  • No refunds are permitted past the 48 hours mark prior to the crafting event. Tickets are transferable to family or friends by providing their name in advance. To do this, please call 519-661-5169 or email info@eldonhouse.ca to confirm.
