This leather screen is an Art Nouveau piece and has been attributed to the English artist Burne Jones.

This leather screen had been on display in the Library of Eldon House since 1900. The piece has three separate panels with an over-all pattern including typical Art Nouveau motifs of plant life, organic patterns and romanticized female figures.  The base of the screen has individually knotted silk ties.
