Services

Eldon House proper is a delicate museum and off limits for rental usage. If you would like to rent Eldon House Interpretive Centre or Eldon House Grounds for a meeting or event, please contact the Museum Coordinator at 519.661.5169. Eldon House facilities have a capacity of 40 persons seated or 60 persons standing and rentals may not exceed capacity including guests, staff, volunteers, and presenters.

$250 (plus HST) up to 15 guests for 2.5 hrs
Additional guests $15.00 per person. Suitable for ages 5 and up

 

Includes Eldon House Historical Interpreter, themed printable party invitations, as well as your choice of 2 of the following activities:

  • 40 min guided tour of Eldon House
  • 40 min Historic Walking Tour
  • Games on the Eldon House lawns with guided lesson OR Parlour games and toys with guided lesson (indoor)
  • Paper crafts

$50.00 (+HST)/hour

Eldon House is the perfect location to capture life’s special moments. Whether it’s a wedding, a family photo shoot, or engagement photos, the grounds of Eldon House make for the perfect backdrop for your photos.

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron. We honour and respect the history, languages and culture of the diverse Indigenous people who call this territory home.

We acknowledge all the treaties that are specific to this area: the Two Row Wampum Belt Treaty of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy/Silver Covenant Chain; the Beaver Hunting Grounds of the Haudenosaunee NANFAN Treaty of 1701; the McKee Treaty of 1790, the London Township Treaty of 1796, the Huron Tract Treaty of 1827, with the Anishinaabeg, and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum of the Anishnaabek and Haudenosaunee.

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
