The theme of this year’s event is Honouring the Past, Celebrating the Present: Here’s to 200 More, in celebration of London’s bicentennial anniversary. This special edition of Heritage Fair will highlight 200 years of innovation, inspiration, and integration that have shaped the city into the culturally vibrant and historically rich place it is today. Exhibitors will showcase how their organizations have contributed to London’s journey from past to present, and visitors can explore interactive exhibits and hands-on activities that bring this transformation to life. Join us in celebrating London’s 200-year legacy—and the stories that continue to shape its future.

Heritage Fair is an event that usually occurs around Heritage Week, in the third week of February in London. Since 2012, the London Heritage Council’s Heritage Fair has been devoted to celebrating the rich history, culture, and heritage of London and bringing them to the forefront.

In 2026, the City of London officially marks 200 years since its founding in 1826, its Bicentennial. This timing follows historical precedent: in 1926, London celebrated its Centennial, and the London & Middlesex Historical Society confirms that 1826 is recognized as the year London was formally established. Long before London was founded, this region was home to Indigenous peoples for more than 10,000 years. The Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lenni-Lenape Nations have continuously lived, gathered, and cared for this land, and their stories remain an integral part of our community’s foundation. Eldon House partners with the City of London to celebrate this incredible milestone with our community!
