Join Eldon House’s Grounds and Gardens Coordinator, Kendal Davidson, and the Program Coordinator, Brenna Ardiel, in Eldon House’s first virtual at home event! during the Grow-A-Long participants will have the opportunity to purchase and pick-up a collection of seeds from the museum, take them home, plant them, and watch them grow! Follow along with Kendal Davidson through the virtual monthly news letter plant, cultivate, and nurture your seedlings at home! The virtual new letter will also continue, gardening tips for each season, pest control methods, you’ve grown, seed saving, guided activities that utilize the species and fun historical facts about the historical Eldon House and its over 190 years of botanical history!

Availability: 40 available.

  • Eldon House will provided the following supplies including seeds and the virtual monthly news letter.
    • The monthly news letter will be sent the first Friday of the month, April through December, 2025.
  • Participants must have the following supplies to participated in the Grow-A-Long:
    • gardening gloves (optional)
    • 5 containers (dimensions: 5 ft diameters and 1 foot depth) or in drown growing
      • In a  full sun area or minimum 6 hours of full sun a day 
    • gardening implements (spade and clippers)
  • All participants are required to pick-up your seeds from Eldon House during our house of operation 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.:
      • January to April: Thursday through Sunday

  • This program is for beginners and intermediate gardeners. 
  • No refunds are permitted once seed have been pick-up by a participant.
