Christmas Crafting for Kids and Story Time with Amelia

Children will get the chance to learn about seasonal traditional Victorian holiday ornaments and decorations through crafting. Take time to explore Eldon House with a self-guided tour and enjoy the sights and scents of our Victorian Christmas exhibit. Children are able to sit in the Drawing Room and listen to The Night Before Christmas read aloud by Amelia Harris! Story Time with Amelia is on a first come first serve basis.

All adults and children attending the event must purchase a ticket.

When making your purchase, please indicate in the notes how many children under 3 will be participating.

These guidelines ensure that staff can prepare our craft supplies accordingly.

The crafting session  is 60-minutes starting at 2:00 p.m. Walk-ins space is available while supplies last. Story Time with Amelia is first come first serve and takes place through the afternoon upon request (limited seating due to capacity). Adults are not permitted to leave children 15 and under unattended at either activity.

  • Crafts are recommended for ages 3 and up.

  • No refunds are permitted past the 48 hours mark prior to the crafting event. Tickets are transferable to family or friends by providing their name in advance. To do this, please call 519-661-5169 or email info@eldonhouse.ca to confirm.
