Come and celebrate one of Eldon House’s founders, Amelia Harris, as we honour her 227th Birthday! Explore London’s oldest residence and marvel at one of the city’s heritage gems. Join us for 30-minute drop-in tours of the Museum at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. exploring the life and times of Eldon House’s matriarch. Our drop-in tours are available on a first come first serve basis. Tours will begin promptly at their designated times.

  • Light refreshments will be served in the Interpretive Centre.
  • Our 30-minute drop-in tours of the museum at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. are available on a first come first serve basis (no groups larger then 12 people). These tours will begin promptly at their designated times.
  • As a heritage site there is no public parking. There is public parking in and around the museum. Click here for Google Maps of Eldon House 
  • Please be aware that if the event is postponed or canceled guests will be notified in advance as soon as possible.

We acknowledge all the treaties that are specific to this area: the Two Row Wampum Belt Treaty of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy/Silver Covenant Chain; the Beaver Hunting Grounds of the Haudenosaunee NANFAN Treaty of 1701; the McKee Treaty of 1790, the London Township Treaty of 1796, the Huron Tract Treaty of 1827, with the Anishinaabeg, and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum of the Anishnaabek and Haudenosaunee.

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
