Taxidermy animal life was popular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. This frog is stuffed with horsehair and has glass eyes. While the exact provenance of this piece is not detailed in the Harris Papers, there are several photographic images of it (along with other amphibians and insects) taken by Milly Harris in what is now the Pink Bedroom.
