The front back of a postcard from Milly's trip to Sweden

Country of Origin: Sweden
Year: 1905
Materials: Paper and Ink

The Harris Family were well known travellers, and the women were prolific writers, sending letters home, and writing extensive travel diaries. This postcard was sent by Milly Harris back to Eldon House in 1905 during a trip to Sweden. It is likely that she addressed and sent it to herself as there were no other Miss Harris’ living at Eldon House, and probably sent it as a reminder of her travels.

This piece was brought back into the collection in 2021 when a resident of London found this postcard in someone’s collection in Clinton, ON!
