Lucy Harris' Travel Case

A combination writing case, sewing kit, jewel box, and dressing case, this was used by Lucy Harris on her various travels in the late Victorian Era. It is made of dark blue leather with brass lock, and has a compartment for writing paper on lid, a flat manicure set holder with loops, and several silver topped toilette bottles. There are 28 pieces in the set!

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
