Our Summer Tea Program will be back, July and August 2025, Wednesday through Sunday! Look to our website in May to June 2025 for early registration!

Eldon House’s 2024 Summer Tea Season has ended. The Eldon House Summer Tea Program is part of the museum’s annual Public Programming which supports the museums operations. We are not a restaurant but in future, would like to expand our Interpretive Centre kitchen to accommodate more public and educational programming. Sadly, we are not able to host our tea program all year long as it is made possible in part by Canada Summer Jobs, a government grant.

How to prepare for the 2025 Summer Tea Program? Things to note:

  1. All guests must place their tea order online through the Eldon House website, which includes payment via debit or credit. Once you have place a purchase, you will receive an email confirming that your purchase has been received.
  2. All orders are received and process manually within 72 hours of your purchase. Once your purchase is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email.
  3. We regret that at this time we cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions, however we strive to improve our customer service.
  4. Online ordering and registration closes 72 hours prior to each seating.
  5. No refunds are permitted past the 72 hour window.
  6. Reservations are transferable to family or friends upon contacting the Eldon House Program Coordinator via email or phone.
  7. Limited quantities available per day for walk-in visits. Walk-ins receive a light tea while quantities last.

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron. We honour and respect the history, languages and culture of the diverse Indigenous people who call this territory home.

We acknowledge all the treaties that are specific to this area: the Two Row Wampum Belt Treaty of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy/Silver Covenant Chain; the Beaver Hunting Grounds of the Haudenosaunee NANFAN Treaty of 1701; the McKee Treaty of 1790, the London Township Treaty of 1796, the Huron Tract Treaty of 1827, with the Anishinaabeg, and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum of the Anishnaabek and Haudenosaunee.

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
