Eldon House encourages you to bring your favourite stuffed friend, and a blanket for a picnic on our front lawn! Play a round of Teddy Bear I-Spy, enjoy a self-guided tour of the museum and play some traditional Victorian lawn games. Between 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. approximately every 20 minutes, children are able to sit and listen to fairy tales read outload by Amelia Harris! No Registration Required. Please purchase tickets in advance for the Summer Tea Program if you wish to enjoy the garden tea on the lawn. Your may bring your own picnicking supplies and please clean up after your group. Actress, Kattina Michele, is to play our Amelia Harris! She has spent her career sharing stories and information through engaging programs and shows. Kattina believes that playing costumed characters and sharing stories of the people and energy of the period is profoundly exhilarating. In Kat’s opinion, the best historical stories are told from those who lived it!

  • Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
  • Mask or face coverings are encouraged indoors and outside.
  • Social distancing measures of 6 feet will be maintained between staff and fellow visitors.
