Join us at the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery for a tour diving into the history of the cemetery’s architecture and the unique ecosystem that make the grounds beautiful and serene. Learn details about the culture of death during the Victorian era, and the art and architecture carved into the monuments and gravestones at the Mount Pleasant site.
  • This tour will take place in the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery where guests are expected to meet at the entrance off of Riverside Drive. An Eldon House Historical Interpreter will be there to greet tour groups. 
  • Not suitable for children under 12.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes for walking. 
  • Please be aware that there are long periods of standing.
  • This program is rain or shine. Please dress and prepare accordingly.
  • No refunds are permitted past the 48 hours mark prior to the event. Tickets are transferable to family or friends by providing their name to in advance. To do this, please call 519-661-5169 or email info@eldonhouse.ca to confirm.

The three Indigenous Nations that are neighbours to London are the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation; Oneida Nation of the Thames; and the Munsee-Delaware Nation who all continue to live as sovereign Nations with individual and unique languages, cultures, and customs.
