Doors Open: Designing the Forest City

During Doors Open, Historical Interpreters will explore the unique design elements of historic Eldon House. Visitors may take part in self-guided tours of the house and grounds and enjoy outdoor activities including classic Victorian lawn games for families and children.

The 21st annual Doors Open London (DOL) weekend will take place on September 17 and 18, 2022. The theme, “Designing the Forest City,” will invite participants and attendees to consider how design impacts their lives. The event weekend aims to provide a range of interest areas and activities to ensure all community members can match their curiosities and embrace opportunities for public engagement.

  • Social distancing measures of 6 feet will be maintained between staff and fellow visitors.
  • As a heritage site there is no public parking.
